Launching Truss

This is a Launching Truss designed by M/s. AFCONS. The truss fabrication has been done by AFCONS and the machinery which includes 15 nos trolleys, Underslung 60 Ton and long travel machinery has been manufactured by Hebenkraft .

This truss has 60 tonnes underslung and on its top 15 trollies having 60 tonnes holding capacity each with the longitudinal travel. A 60 tonnes concrete segment is lifted by the underslung hoist and given to the above mounted trolley. In this manner the truss is able to hold 15 quantities of 60 tonnes segment each with the help of the trolleys. By aligning the concrete segments the entire concrete girder is prepared and finally launched on two columns.
